Liminality Research-Advocacy-Policy (RAP) Coalition
The Liminality Research-Advocacy-Policy Coalition brings together stakeholders across sectors committed to improving the conditions and well-being of people of diverse Sexual Orientations, Gender Identities and Expressions, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC). It serves as a dynamic, flexible, and informal platform that harnesses the expertise and experiences of diverse stakeholders.
The Coalition aims to generate evidence that accurately reflects the realities of queer refugees, with the goal of informing policy and practice. By fostering evidence-based advocacy, it seeks to inspire change and improve health outcomes and living conditions for queer individuals in forced displacement contexts.
Liminality RAP Members
The Coalition will comprise a diverse stakeholder, welcoming both organizational and individual members that are active in Community Engagement and Advocacy, Research, Humanitarian action, policy making, who have a vested interested to improve the conditions of queer people in forced displacement.
Members of the Coalition are expected, based on their capacity and expertise, to:
· Actively participate in meetings and contribute to discussions.
· Share relevant knowledge, insights, and information about events or publications aligned with the Coalition’s objectives.
· Support joint research, advocacy, and policy initiatives as appropriate.
· Assist in the dissemination of research findings to wider audiences.
